Joel Hamilton is a Musician, Producer, and Engineer from Brooklyn, New York. His world-class recording complex, Studio G, has been home to artists as diverse as Elvis Costello, Matisyahu, Sparklehorse, Jolie Holland, Marc Ribot, Blakroc, and Talib Kweli.

He is a senior contributor for Tape-Op magazine, where he writes articles on production and gear reviews. He also has worked as a volunteer for the Triad Trust, donating time to make recordings to empower young artists in South Africa.

Joel has been featured in trade magazines such as EQ, Mix, Sound on Sound, Tape-Op, and Electronic Musician.

Through invites from the Colombian Government and AES Latin America,

Hamilton has traveled extensively in South America, doing production and mixing workshops for aspiring engineers.

Joel has been a member of the independent bands Shiner, The Book Of Knots, and A Storm Of Light, and has played on countless recordings for artists ranging from the Black Keys to Dub Trio.

Matthias Bossi, a graduate of the New England Conservatory, is a member of the bands Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and The Book Of Knots, and was the drummer for Skeleton Key. He has had the pleasure of collaborating with Mike Patton, Blixa Bargeld, Tom Waits, Mike Watt, and others. He is currently touring with guitarist Fred Frith in his new project, Cosa Brava, and has contributed to the recordings of John Vanderslice, St. Vincent, A Storm Of Light, The Tiger Lillies, and Pretty Lights.

Recent projects include an original musical score for the feature film “Three Days In Havana,” and voiceovers for the motion-comic “Brave Project,” the video game “The Binding of Isaac,” and the Steerforth Press’ E-book release of “Street Soldier.”

Matthias spends his quiet moments in a crusty fishing village, whose sandy beaches cling tenuously to the lapping waters of Cape Cod Bay.

Jon Evans, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, has been an integral part of the San Francisco Bay area music scene for the last 20 years. He has recorded and toured with Tori Amos, Elton John, Linda Perry, Third Eye Blind, Vanessa Carleton, Paula Cole, The Billy Nayer Show, G. E. Smith and Alex Degrassi among countless others.
In 2000, Evans founded San Pablo Recorders in Berkeley, where his skills as a writer, engineer, and producer have shaped over 100 releases, including two Grammy-nominated records for Wil Bernard and Marcie Brown (Cirque du Soleil) and a Silver Addy for his work with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and their campaign for Rolling Rock Beer.
Jon’s Commercial clients include Nike, Nabisco, Hewlett Packard, Kellogg’s, Anheuser Busch, Microsoft, Juniper, Junos, Men’s Wearhouse, Cisco, PayPal and Logitech.
Jon can be found trolling the waters of Boston, NY and San Francisco in search of the newest sonic landscapes.
